OBJECTIVE:-
The combination of biomedical
and pharmaceutical science and clinical expertise in drug use in a pharmacy
degree prepares pharmacy graduates for work in a variety of fields.
Graduates work as pharmacists in the community or in hospitals. Many
pharmacists are involved in clinical trials used to evaluate new drug
products and in preparing documentation on the effectiveness and safety of
new drugs (required for marketing approval). Pharmacists are involved
extensively in the manufacturing, research, quality control and marketing of
pharmaceuticals. They are also employed in government health departments
where they may be involved in regulation and approval of new pharmaceutical
products. Some pharmacy graduates specialize in providing drug information
to other health professionals, hospitals and government departments, while
others undertake postgraduate training for careers as academics or
researchers or in more specialized fields such as toxicology.
ELIGIBILITY:-
Pass in 12th class of 10+2
pattern or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics,
Chemistry and Biology.
DURATION:-
Four year degree
course with eight semesters.
Admission Procedure:
Above course is full-time
regular program approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Uttrakhand
Technical University. Admissions are made strictly based on the guidelines
of the university. 85% Seats(50% for Uttrakhand domiciled+35% All India
seats) are filled through the counseling conducted every year by State
Counseling Board, Govt Of Uttrakhand based on the merit of UTEEE. For more

Management Quota Seats:
Remaining 15% Seats are Management Quota Seats for which admissions are made
strictly based on the merit according to the laid down guidelines of
Uttrakhand Technical University.

Year 2010 either through management quota or through counseling will be as

Fee, One Time Uniform Charges (i.e. uniform will be provided only once in
four year at the time of the admission), Library
Membership Fee, Alumni, Internet, smart card, Insurance charges. (No
hidden cost is to be added at later stage).

All Other facilities viz. Transport,
Hostels, Value Added Modules, Book Bank Charges, University Examination Fee etc will be additional and
optional to the students, that means if student according to his/her
own choice opt for these facilities will require to pay additional as per
Institute rules for these facilities.

Fee is to be paid semester wise on well
announced dates, failing which student will be liable for late fee etc
automatically.

Students having 80% or above in 10+2 will
be entitled for 10% Scholarship in First Semester Fee.

quota seats, you need to register with DBIPR on the prescribed application
form that can be obtained from the Institute or can be downloaded from the
website. Along with the the completely filled application form attach
photocopies of following documents:-
